Meet the Doctor

At the heart of our practice is a simple philosophy: every patient deserves gentle, compassionate, and personalized care. Dr. Michael Listhaus D.D.S. is committed to making every visit as comfortable, painless, and anxiety-free as possible. By combining a calm, reassuring approach with the most up-to-date techniques and technology, he ensures that patients of all ages feel confident and cared for.

Dr. Listhaus grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where he developed a strong sense of community and a deep appreciation for helping others. Over 15 years ago, he moved to Maryland to pursue his dental education—and has proudly called it home ever since. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the oldest dental school in the United states, University of Maryland School of Dentistry, followed by completing his competitive and vigorous General Practice Residency (GPR) at the same institution. Dr. Listhaus also completed a one year clerkship in oral surgery at University of Maryland school of dentistry. These experiences strengthened his clinical skills and cemented his dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered dentistry.

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Michael loves spending quality time with his family. He and his wife — who also grew up in Brooklyn — enjoy exploring Maryland and making memories with their children.
